The INHERIT project successfully concluded its activities with a series of Final Dissemination Conferences held across partner countries, bringing together stakeholders, tourism professionals, and local communities to celebrate the project's achievements and showcase its innovative digital tools for sustainable rural tourism development.
Final Conference in Spain
On October 2nd, 2025, Naturalwalks hosted the Final Dissemination Conference at the Oficina de Turisme de Tremp in Spain. The event brought together local stakeholders, rural tourism entrepreneurs, tour guides, and community members to celebrate the culmination of the project's journey, showcasing the trails, interactive maps, and digital platform designed to transform how visitors experience the region. All project partners presented their heritage trails and demonstrated the potential of these tools for sustainable rural tourism. The conference was followed by a guided walking tour led by Naturalwalks, allowing participants to experience the heritage interpretation stops firsthand amid Tremp's stunning landscapes.

Final Conference in Bulgaria
The Bulgarian Final Dissemination Conference took place on October 10, 2025, hosted by the Devetaki Plateau Association (Сдружение Деветашко Плато). This flagship event gathered project partners, local community members, journalists, architects, and policy makers, with special guests including the Mayors of Lovech and Letnitsa municipalities. During the conference, participants were introduced to the INHERIT digital platform and its training course, designed to empower rural tourism enterprise owners and managers to develop authentic experiential tourism products rooted in local culture and heritage. The event showcased the project's impressive digital portfolio comprising digital heritage interpretation stories, heritage trails, and thematic quests across Bulgaria, Spain, Cyprus, and Slovakia, all mapped digitally for explorers and storytellers.

Final Conference in Slovakia
On October 17, 2025, the Lišov Museum held the Final conference of the INHERIT project in Slovakia and also celebrated Erasmus Days. The museum showcased how the project connects cultural heritage, education, and sustainable tourism through its educational platform—an online tool for museums, guides, and teachers—and the Heritage Trails (Village trails) from Slovakia that connect local stories, nature, and traditions. Conference attendees had the opportunity to directly engage with the educational materials and discover how modern approaches help preserve cultural heritage for future generations, while also celebrating the achievements of the Erasmus+ programme that connects people, develops education, and promotes cooperation across Europe.

Final Conference in Cyprus
The series of conferences concluded on October 24, 2025, when the Kato Drys Community Council in Cyprus hosted the final event, bringing together partner organization representatives, local tourism professionals, and community members. The conference highlighted all that the project accomplished together—from the digital trails and interactive course to the comprehensive platform designed to help visitors connect more deeply with Cyprus's rural heritage. Each partner organization shared their unique trails, illustrating the potential these innovative tools hold for advancing sustainable tourism development throughout rural Europe. As a fitting conclusion, participants took part in a traditional mosaic-making workshop, gaining hands-on experience with authentic Cypriot craftsmanship—a meaningful way to bring the project's goals full circle by blending cultural preservation with community engagement.
