From September 9 to 13, 2024, the Cultural and Information Center "Old Mill" in Karpachevo (Bulgaria) hosted a training of trainers for the INHERIT project, which brings together 5 organizations from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Spain and Slovakia and aims to improve the skills and competitiveness of local entrepreneurs in the field of tourism and increase the attractiveness of the region as a tourist destination.

The project consortium developed training modules for a 5-day course with the main focus on "Tourism through Experiences". The course was tested through this Train-the-Trainer workshop. Its main aims was to prepare continuing VET providers for the delivery of the INHERIT course.

As a follow-up on this workshop, each project partner held trainings for entrepreneurs and other stakeholders at the local level in Bulgaria, Cyprus, Spain and Slovakia. Together with representatives of the local community, modern tourist routes and packages were developed, including existing and new local landmarks.
